Founders of the Penitent Order of Franciscan Servants, Father Evelio Hernandez and Father Charles Lord have spent their entire lives in the pursuit of holiness.
The Penitent Order of Franciscan Servants is a religious order for men in the Church. Their charism is both contemporary and contemplative. Members of the order follow the charism of St. Francis by seeking peace and pursuing it, by living lives of quiet contemplation and by withdrawing from the world so as to better draw close to God in meditative prayer.
